The single-monikered IVA puts a modern spin on Swedish musical traditions. She last appeared at ScanFest in 2016.
“This time around I’m going to perform some Swedish folk songs and my band and I will perform more of the material I’ve written since our last visit, which is more of a neo-folk sound influenced by the homegrown American and Swedish traditions. This festival integrates the old and the new in a way that has become popular now as our modern society goes back to our roots in the face of environmental and political turmoil. We are just thrilled to perform at Scanfest again,” IVA said.
